FP3 Bench

We built 3 of these benches for the Fort Point condominium building FP3. The boards were sawn from roughly 100 year old pine beams salvaged from the building during its renovation. The wide blackened steel stretcher adds strength and an industrial feel to the bench. We emphasized the asymmetrical corner joinery with small reveals that draw attention to the area. The benches are used in a gallery space adjoining the building lobby.
