Dining Bench

This bench design combines figured and plain wood of the same species. We trim, or frame, the figured pieces in the center with plain pieces and separate the two with a dark thin line. The shaping of the edge pieces adds movement and contour to the flat surfaces. We can build this bench in various species, depending on availability of the figured material.
