We’ve incorporated the straight cylinder leg into our design language over the past few years, for its simplicity and modernism. The support stretchers mimic the round leg at the joint and offer more subtle details underneath at the center lap joint. The lifted or “floating” top is shown in lacquered mdf, but can be built in solid wood, solid surface, stone or acrylic, glass, etc. to expose more of the base.
