Great Bay Dining Table

We built this communal table as part of a renovation of the former Great Bay restaurant in Boston’s Kenmore Square. The table provided ample space for casual and social dining in the bar area of the restaurant. The single low stretcher allows for 10 barstools around the table. The black lacquer finish on ash wood offers a dramatic cerused effect, emphasizing the areas of open and closed grain. This table could be easily scaled and built in any number of species and finishes
